The section service allows us to cut and optimise the phenolic birch panel or the two-ply spruce panel according to the dimensions of the boards we have to produce.
Glueing process
In order to guarantee a high-quality adhesion between the noble layer and the plywood backing, we use exclusively vinyl acetate adhesives resistant to water, which belong to the D3/D4 class – in compliance with the DIN EN 204/205 normative – and are free from solvents and isocyanates. This choice is a result of our intention to use NAF “no-added formaldehyde” adhesives (also appropriate for the production of E1, E1 Germany and CARB class panels); furthermore, we avoid the use of ureic adhesives with high formaldehyde emissions – a dangerous substance for the health of human beings – or polyureic adhesives which could release isocyanates during the productive phases, as they are harmful as well.
This means that we have made an ethic choice that satisfies both the necessity to guarantee the durability of the final product and safeguard the health of our employees and consumers.
Stucco process
We use epoxy stucco for wood in different colours in accordance with the requests of our customers. The professionality that distinguishes us emerges from the technique and the attention we put on polishing and, subsequently, colouring possible imperfections or cracks on the timber boards.
Sanding process
During this process the boards are conveniently selected in order to correct possible thickness differences and, hence, guarantee uniformity among them.
Tongue and groove process
We create tongue and groove on 4 sides to have a perfect joint between the wood flooring components. The profile is completed with the bevel, whose intensity satisfies the necessities of the customer (live edge, micro bevel, intensive bevel).
Quality control
In order to ensure high-quality levels, our product is subject to meticulous controls over all the production phases, from the humidity control of the planks and plywood panels to the brushing process.
Packaging
At the end of the productive process, after the final quality control sequence, the boards are wrapped up in specific packages that protect them from possible impacts during the transport.
Warehouse
All the goods in stock are kept in a healthy and air-conditioned room; they are moved exclusively by qualified staff.
